First Aid Instructor & Fire Safety Instructor

Description:

10+ years experience in Fire Safety training, First Aid training & other HSE training.

Additional qualifications like IOSH, NEBOSH, Occupational Health & Safety courses will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

- To undertake coaching of courses through both lecture and practical-based sessions.

- To continually assess the standard attained by students during courses.

- To lead and assist in the conduct of any exercise and scenarios.

-To assist in the development and design of new and existing courses as required.

- Be able to interact with students and impart knowledge and skills using various proven means of teaching.

- Providing the trainees with accurate information regarding the course & ensure the entire group fully understands explanations.

- Demonstrating how to use the equipment.

- To brief and control support staff for training courses or exercises

- To ensure that all courses are provided with the equipment and facilities specified in the course program.

- To maintain discipline and ensure that laid down safety standards for both staff and trainees are adhered to at all times.

- Managing records of course attendees.

- To undertake work allocated by the line manager.

- Have a good understanding of customer care and health safety procedures.

- Cleaning and maintaining training equipment and resources.

- Assessing capabilities of the group and awarding qualifications to those who have met the criteria and standards.

- To undertake coaching of courses through both lecture and practical-based sessions.

- Demonstrating how to use the equipment, care, and health safety procedures sessions.
