Description:
As a Part-Time Funding Specialist, you will connect with venture capitalists (VCs) and investors across the UAE to secure funding for Recharga Chargine. You will travel to meet investors, pitch our vision, and build strategic relationships. This 3-month contract role offers a competitive commission of 3-5% on any funding you secure, with potential for extension based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage venture capital firms, angel investors, and financial institutions in the UAE, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Deliver compelling pitches to highlight Recharga Chargine’s business model and growth potential.
- Travel to investor offices and events across the UAE to network and foster partnerships.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to refine pitch decks, financial models, and investor materials.
- Conduct market research to identify funding opportunities in fintech, AI, and sustainability sectors.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Dubai, UAE.
- Driving License: Valid UAE driving license required (for travel to investor meetings).
- Experience: Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, or business development, ideally in startups or venture capital.
- Skills: Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills; knowledge of UAE’s VC ecosystem (e.g., firms like BECO Capital or Hub71) is a plus.
- Availability: Able to work part-time (up to 15 hours/week) and travel within the UAE as needed.
- Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Eligibility: Must hold a valid UAE residence visa or be eligible for a part-time work permit through the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).
