Garage Service Advisor

 

Description:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our auto workshop/garage team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in a UAE-based workshop or garage environment and the ability to manage customer interactions, job cards, and service coordination efficiently. The Service Advisor will act as the main link between customers and technicians, ensuring smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Customer Handling:

  • Welcome customers and understand their vehicle concerns
  • Explain repair and maintenance requirements clearly
  • Provide professional advice on vehicle care and services

Workshop Coordination:

  • Open job cards and ensure all details are recorded correctly
  • Coordinate with technicians for job progress and priority
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and services

Estimation & Follow-up:

  • Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines
  • Update customers on job status regularly
  • Follow up after service completion for feedback

Sales & Upselling:

  • Recommend additional repairs or preventive maintenance
  • Promote workshop services, packages, and offers

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain proper records of jobs and customer history
  • Prepare invoices and assist with billing
  • Schedule service appointments and reminders

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Service Advisor in a UAE auto workshop/garage
  • Good knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance
