General Manager

Description:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic General Manager to oversee and lead construction operations across the UAE. This senior leadership role requires a results-oriented professional with strong commercial acumen, hands-on project oversight capabilities, and a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects while driving sustainable business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end construction operations and ensure successful project delivery across multiple sites
• Define and execute business strategies to improve operational efficiency, margins, and profitability
• Oversee budgeting, cost management, contract administration, procurement, and commercial controls
• Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, quality benchmarks, and health & safety standards
• Manage and mentor senior leadership teams, project directors, and key functional heads
• Act as the company’s representative with clients, consultants, government authorities, and major stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience within the construction sector
• Demonstrated leadership in senior management roles within the UAE or GCC markets
• Strong expertise in project management, contracts, commercial operations, and governance
• Excellent leadership, strategic decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Academic background in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; MBA is an added advantage
