Group Finance Director

Description:

AI Qaryah Group, a diversified business group based in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Finance Director to lead financial operations, governance, and long-term planning across its multiple business verticals. This is a senior, board-facing leadership position reporting directly to the Chairman, with high exposure to strategic decision-making and financial transformation initiatives.

The group operates across a wide range of industries including automotive auctions, vehicle imports and trading, spare parts, shipping and logistics, real estate, and import–export operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, strengthening governance, optimizing treasury functions, and driving digital transformation across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute group-wide financial strategy and long-term business planning.
• Oversee governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and statutory reporting across all entities.
• Lead treasury operations, working capital management, and maintain strong banking relationships.
• Manage and optimize landed cost structures for import-driven businesses.
• Drive ERP, CRM, and finance digital transformation initiatives, with strong focus on SAP systems.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful group MIS reports for the board and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• CA, CPA, ACA, or CMA qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in finance roles.
• At least 5+ years in senior leadership positions such as Group Finance Head or Senior Finance Manager.

Experience & Expertise:

• Strong industry exposure to automotive, auctions, trading, logistics, shipping, real estate, and import-focused businesses.
• Hands-on experience with SAP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
• Proven leadership in corporate finance, treasury, investment management, governance, and strategic finance functions.
