Athena Education, a prestigious educational institution in Dubai, is seeking a committed and experienced Head of Inclusion to spearhead its inclusive education initiatives. This full-time role requires a passionate professional with a solid background in inclusive education frameworks and demonstrated success within high-performing educational settings.

The Head of Inclusion will be responsible for developing and leading the school’s inclusion strategy, ensuring that students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive tailored pastoral support across all year groups. The role involves close collaboration with teachers to adapt curricula and learning strategies to meet diverse student needs, as well as fostering strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and external specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and lead the school’s inclusive education strategy to create a supportive and equitable learning environment.

• Oversee the provision of SEND and pastoral support throughout the school’s year groups, ensuring all students receive appropriate assistance.

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to modify curricula and adapt learning approaches for students requiring additional support.

• Engage and liaise effectively with parents, guardians, and external specialists to facilitate student progress and well-being.

• Promote and embed a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of school life, fostering awareness and understanding.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with relevant educational qualifications.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within an educational institution.

• Strong knowledge of inclusive education frameworks, SEND policies, and best practices.

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with educators and external professionals.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships and initiatives.
