Description:
Arco Safety Ltd is seeking experienced and proactive Health and Safety Managers to join our team in Dubai. This role is critical in overseeing the safety operations of high-stakes Data Centre environments. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities align with UAE federal laws and international best practices, protecting both personnel and critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Auditing & Compliance: Lead regular HSE audits and site inspections to ensure 100% compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Dubai Municipality/Trakhees regulations.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement comprehensive Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) specifically for data centre hazards, including arc flash, high-voltage systems, and fire suppression.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough root-cause analysis (RCA) for any near-misses or accidents, producing detailed reports and actionable prevention strategies.
- Safety Leadership: Manage on-site Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and permit-to-work systems for high-risk maintenance and construction tasks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory bodies regarding HSE performance and reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience within the Data Centre sector (Construction or Operations).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical safety, cooling systems hazards, and fire life safety systems (e.g., FM-200, Novec 1230).
- Qualifications: * NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or Diploma.
~ OSHA 30 or equivalent international certification.
~ ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English; ability to influence safety culture across multidisciplinary teams.
