Homeroom Teacher

Dubai Modern Education School (DMES) is currently hiring a passionate and dedicated Homeroom Teacher to join its academic team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, standards-based education for students from Kindergarten through Grade 5, following the US Curriculum framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment while ensuring strong academic development in core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 using a structured US Curriculum approach

• Deliver lessons in core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Science with clarity and engagement

• Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive learning environment that supports student growth

• Integrate modern EdTech tools such as Google Workspace, Seesaw, and ClassDojo into daily teaching practices

• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to support academic improvement

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to enhance the overall learning experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education (Master’s degree preferred)

• Valid UAE teaching license or certification in Elementary Education

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a US curriculum-based school in the UAE

• Proficiency in educational technology tools such as Google Workspace, Seesaw, and ClassDojo

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student-centered teaching
