Description:
We are looking for an HSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE experience in Health, Safety, and Environment practices within construction and MEP contracting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and regulations across project sites.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with local authorities and project standards.
- Identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
- Prepare and deliver safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site personnel.
- Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and ensure preventive measures are adopted.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and ensure readiness for audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–6 years of HSE experience in UAE construction/MEP projects.
- Valid NEBOSH IGC certification is a must; additional HSE certifications are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations, risk assessment, and site safety practices.
- Excellent communication, observation, and leadership skills.
