Description:
To ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site by monitoring activities, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards and project requirements
- Monitor work activities and enforce safe work practices in line with company and client procedures
- Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective/preventive actions
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all personnel
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers
- Report and investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHAD (Qudorat) requirements and other UAE regulations
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives on HSE matters
- Support implementation of emergency response plans and drills
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an HSE Officer/Inspector in construction projects
- Technical Diploma or Diploma in Health & Safety Management (or equivalent)
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
- Registered in OSHAD “Qudorat” system (mandatory)
- TAQA approval (preferred)
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
- Strong communication and reporting skills
