HSE Officer

Description:

* Should have prior experience working in Oil & Gas Construction / EPC projects with strong exposure to site HSE management.

* Ensure implementation of the company and client HSE policies, procedures, and standards across all project activities.

* Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification (HAZID), and ensure proper control measures are in place.

* Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with ADNOC, UAE regulatory requirements, and international HSE standards.

* Carry out toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workforce at all levels.

* Conduct daily site inspections and prepare reports highlighting unsafe conditions/acts and recommend corrective actions.

* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

* Liaise with project management, client representatives, and subcontractors on all HSE-related matters.

* Ensure proper PPE usage, safe lifting operations, confined space entry, hot works, and permit-to-work system implementation.

* Maintain HSE records, statistics, and prepare monthly performance reports.

* Support in preparing emergency response plans and conducting regular mock drills.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and guide multi-national workforce on safety practices.

# Qualification & Certification:

* Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science (preferred).

* NEBOSH IGC (mandatory).

* OSHA / IOSH Managing Safely certification (preferred).

* ADNOC approved candidates will be preferred who have worked in Habshan BAB / BU HASA areas.

# Experience: Minimum 6–8 Years in HSE, with at least 3–4 years in Oil & Gas Construction projects in the UAE/GCC.
