HSE Specialist

Description:

Project Black Gold is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to lead and strengthen Safety, Security, Health & Environment practices across our onshore and offshore operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and industry standards within the Oil And Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and recommend on technology, processes, and operational activities related to onshore and offshore Safety, Security, Health & Environment.

• Support implementation of safety strategies, policies, procedures, and programs to ensure workplace safety and employee well-being.

• Develop and lead safety communications aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Identify, recognize, and report hazards while promoting proactive risk mitigation and a strong safety culture.

• Advise leadership on deployment and maintenance of a comprehensive HSSE Management System.

• Support implementation of HSSE Core Processes and ensure compliance with associated management system requirements.

• Collaborate with Business Group Management and operational teams to deliver on HSSE performance expectations.

• Monitor compliance, conduct risk assessments, and ensure continuous improvement of Workplace Safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1 Position Available

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HSSE within the Energy Industry or related sectors.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and safety systems.

• Proven ability to influence leadership and drive safety culture initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Fire & Safety.
