Internal Audit Manager

Description:

Madison Pearl have been mandated by a global investment fund to hire a senior internal audit professional. The ideal candidate would be an Emarati with 5-7 years gained with previous experience in one of the big 8 audit firms followed by private sector experience. The mandate encompasses executing the annual risk based audit plan. Candidates should have a CIA/CFE qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participation in the maintenance of the internal audit charter and internal audit manual
• Execute internal audit engagements in line with policies and procedures.
• Comply with professional and ethical standards as per the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
• Oversea the preparation of the risk based annual internal audit plan.
• Oversea, mentor and review the work of team members when requires

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit with the last two years in a senior auditing position.
• Experience gained with one of the big 8 audit firms is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, certifications such as CIA or CFE is preferable.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Exposure to ICFR and SOX.
