Description:
Find, verify, negotiate with and develop suppliers of branded footwear, apparel and accessories in your territory: official distributors, liquidators, wholesalers, off-price retailers and traders. Your goal is to turn them into recurring, profitable and authentic purchases, starting with at least one official brand distributor in your territory.
What you will do
- Prospect and contact suppliers in your territory for the brands our clients request.
- Verify each company, the origin of the goods and their authenticity before buying.
- Negotiate price, volume, Incoterms and secure payment terms.
- Analyze offers: landed cost, margin and buying decision.
- Close the first purchase and turn the supplier into a recurring partner.
- Keep your portfolio and opportunities up to date in our CRM (Odoo).
What we are looking for
- Proven B2B negotiation experience with branded products, with access to inventory and supplier relationships. What you have closed matters more than years in a role.
- Buyers and traders are welcome, and so are profiles from the selling side (distributors, exporters, wholesale) who know who to buy from.
Strong plus
- Experience in the off-price channel: stock lots, closeouts, excess inventory or liquidations of footwear, sportswear, lifestyle or accessories (Nike, Adidas, Crocs, HOKA, New Balance, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and similar).
- Relationships with official distributors or brand licensees in the Middle East and Africa.
- Spanish, to work closely with our Spanish-speaking core team.
Technical knowledge
- International trade: Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP), landed cost, duties.
- Numbers: margin and discount-off-retail calculations; intermediate to advanced Excel.
- Authenticity: invoices, Bill of Lading, customs documents; style code and UPC validation.
- International payments: deposits, letters of credit, escrow.
- Product: seasons, size curves, prepacks, and footwear and apparel categories.
- Tools: CRM (Odoo a plus) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
