Inventory Accountant

Description:

PACT Engineering FZC, a reputable organization based in Sharjah, UAE, is urgently hiring a dedicated Inventory Accountant to join their on-site team. This full-time position demands an individual currently residing in the UAE who can immediately join and effectively manage daily factory inventory accounting processes.

The Inventory Accountant will be responsible for handling the accurate posting of inventory transactions and maintaining precise stock records. This role is critical for ensuring inventory data integrity and supporting the finance department with timely reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily transactions of received and issued inventory materials

• Monitor inventory balances and prepare detailed inventory reports

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting of stock movements in the system

• Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to verify inventory accuracy

• Use ERP software (especially Tally) for inventory accounting and reporting

• Maintain compliance with UAE accounting principles and taxation requirements

• Work both independently and within a team environment to achieve organizational goals

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE tax regulations

• Proficiency with ERP systems, with particular expertise in Tally software

• Proven experience in inventory accounting and management

• Excellent attention to detail and strong reporting skills

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
