Description:

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory control and stock management activities to ensure accurate inventory records, optimal stock levels, and efficient stock movement. This role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, preventing stock shortages and overstocking, and improving inventory management processes to support the company's operational objectives.

Key responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, coordinating stock replenishment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and conducting regular stocktakes and reconciliations. The role involves analyzing inventory data, identifying slow-moving and obsolete stock, investigating discrepancies, and implementing effective procedures to minimize stock losses and improve inventory turnover.

The Inventory Manager will coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, sales, and finance departments to ensure smooth stock flow and timely product availability. Responsibilities also include preparing inventory reports, monitoring stock movements, maintaining proper inventory documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve inventory systems, streamline stock control processes, optimize storage utilization, and enhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of inventory control, stocktaking, stock reconciliation, and stock replenishment procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
