Islamic Studies Teacher

Description:

English Language Private School is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Islamic Studies Teacher – Islamic A to join its academic team for the 2026–27 academic year. The role is focused on teaching Islamic Education to Arab students across FS2 and Primary levels.

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of the UAE Islamic Education curriculum, excellent Arabic proficiency, and experience creating engaging learning experiences for young learners. Candidates with UAE school experience and familiarity with KHDA teacher appointment requirements are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Islamic Education lessons to Arab students across FS2 and Primary levels.

• Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the UAE Islamic Education curriculum.

• Support students’ academic and personal development through effective teaching practices.

• Assess student progress and provide appropriate feedback.

• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom learning environment.

• Collaborate with academic teams to support curriculum goals.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications meeting KHDA teacher appointment requirements.

• Experience teaching Islamic A to Arab students.

• Strong knowledge of the UAE Islamic Education curriculum.

• Strong Arabic language proficiency.

• Experience working with FS2 and/or Primary students.
