We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a leading digital transformation project in Fujairah, UAE. This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled professional with strong experience in enterprise Java development, modern frameworks, and microservices architecture.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and integrate applications with third-party systems.
- Develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to deliver business requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
- Participate in application enhancements, maintenance activities, and production support.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–7 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Web Services.
- Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working on enterprise or government digital transformation projects is an advantage.
