Junior Accountant

A well-established Heavy Machinery and Equipment Rental & Trading company in Sharjah is seeking an Junior Accountant to join its growing finance team. The successful candidates will support financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and contribute to the smooth functioning of day-to-day finance activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting and financial operations.

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

• Assist with transaction processing and account reconciliations.

• Prepare financial reports and support finance-related activities.

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

• Assist in month-end and year-end accounting processes.

• Support administrative and reporting duties assigned by the finance team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• Previous accounting experience is preferred.

• Experience within the transport, logistics, heavy machinery, or related sectors will be an advantage.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Good communication and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Accounting principles and practices

• Financial reporting and record keeping

• Account reconciliation procedures

• Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications

• General finance and bookkeeping processes
