Junior Structural Engineer

Description:

WeSource is hiring two Junior Structural Engineers for a 4-month contract with a leading organization in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for experienced structural engineering professionals who have a strong technical background and are comfortable working in fast-paced event and exhibition environments.

The selected candidates will be responsible for reviewing exhibition stand designs, conducting onsite inspections, evaluating technical drawings and structural calculations, and ensuring compliance with safety and structural standards. The contract is extendable based on project requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review exhibition stand designs and structural documentation.

• Conduct onsite inspections to ensure structural safety and compliance.

• Evaluate technical drawings and structural calculations.

• Prepare and review structural detailing as required.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and engineering standards.

• Coordinate with project teams during event operations and installations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Structural Engineering or Junior Structural Engineering.

• Experience with exhibition stands, events, temporary structures, or similar environments is highly preferred.

• Strong English communication and report-writing skills.

• Comfortable working onsite, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Structural drawings and calculations.

• AutoCAD and STAAD.

• Structural detailing.

• IOSH/Safety certification (preferred).
