Description:
The Lead Sports Science Educator & Experience Lead is a dynamic, full-time hybrid role based in Dubai. This role is the public-facing scientific voice of P4ML, responsible for designing and delivering engaging, evidence-based sports science education programs for diverse audiences, including students, community groups, athletes, and partner organizations. You will translate complex scientific concepts into accessible, interactive learning experiences. You will develop curricula and lesson plans, and lead live workshops, demonstrations, and public engagement sessions. The role also includes overseeing the participant experience across educational and performance initiatives, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and integrating P4ML’s evidence-based wellness principles into live training and recovery demonstrations. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all educational content aligns with P4ML’s scientific standards, brand identity, and strategic goals, while continuously evaluating and improving program effectiveness in fast-paced, live-event environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver interactive sports science and wellness education programs for public activations, schools, and university partnerships.
- Translate complex exercise physiology, biomechanics, and recovery science into engaging, easy-to-understand demonstrations for non-specialist audiences.
- Lead live workshops, main-stage presentations, and interactive experiential learning zones.
- Collaborate with the content and media teams to ensure all public-facing messaging, scripts, and educational materials are scientifically accurate and brand-aligned.
- Oversee the safe, hygienic, and effective operation of interactive wellness demonstration equipment (e.g., recovery tech, mobility tools).
- Evaluate participant feedback and engagement metrics to continuously refine and improve the educational experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field. Advanced qualifications are a strong advantage.
- Certification: Recognized Qualified Teacher status, certified fitness educator, or equivalent teaching/facilitation certification, with experience in formal or informal education settings.
- Scientific Foundation: Strong foundation in Science Education with applied knowledge in Biology, Physics, and Mathematics as they relate to human movement and performance.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in sports science, exercise physiology, or human performance, with a proven ability to communicate evidence-based scientific concepts to the public.
- Curriculum Design: Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum design, and the development of interactive, learner-centered educational experiences.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse, multicultural audiences confidently (UAE/Middle East experience highly preferred).
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including scientists, educators, coaches, event managers, and media producers.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, manage timelines, and adapt quickly in a live-event environment.
