Description:
As a Finance & Insurance Manager, you will manage the Finance & Insurance sales and processes of a designated sales team within the dealer network. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales revenue targets set by the Dealer Principal or Account Relationship Manager. You will work closely with dealer sales management to optimize sales of value-added products, and finance products through partner banks. Ensuring compliance with company and Central Bank regulations, you will prioritize customer engagement and maintain accurate customer data.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Financial & Insurance (F&I) Operations:
Establish and manage the F&I Department, including collaboration with panel banks and insurance companies, to benefit the group.
Conduct customer meetings, ensuring they are directed toward panel banks and insurance providers.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining extended warranty options and aftermarket products that enhance automotive investments and boost dealership profitability.
Finalize all required paperwork for car deals promptly and accurately, submitting completed documents for processing vehicle financing applications.
Ensure proper verification and filing of all documentation.
Oversee the completion of second sets of documents, ensuring timely submission to banks and preventing delays in payment collections.
2. Relationship Management:
Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks and insurance companies to secure diverse program options and competitive rates.
Seek out and implement new programs to benefit customers, encouraging purchases and driving profitability.
3. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations in F&I operations.
Prepare and submit monthly F&I performance reports, including closing ratios and sales analysis, to management.
4. Sales Enablement:
Train and support the sales team in effectively endorsing F&I products and dealership financing solutions.
Participate in sales meetings and collaborate on sales strategies.
Assist the sales team in closing deals, providing motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
5. Client Engagement & Development:
Meet with existing and potential clients to build and maintain positive relationships.
Identify and research potential clients to expand the customer base.
Develop client relationships and manage strategic partnerships to support business growth.
6. Strategic Planning & Business Growth:
Develop and implement a country-specific strategy within an agreed budget, aligned with the organization’s strategic vision.
Manage and maintain the strategic planning process, coordinating the development and execution of plans established by higher management.
Create development plans and project F&I growth.
7. Leadership & Collaboration:
Liaise with colleagues to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Monitor performance metrics and adjust plans to ensure consistent growth and achievement of objectives.
