Description:
Madison Pearl is partnering with a financial institution based in Abu Dhabi for an opportunity of Manager - Audit. The purpose of this role is to design, test and adopt the financial control frameworks to ensure that subject entities use financial resources optimally and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an advisor on financial control governance matters.
- Present audit findings to audit committee and provide strategic insights to support sound decision making.
- Manage financial audit teams and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the improvement of the governance principles, policies and procedures, methodologies, and financial control standards across subject entities.
- Develop the definition and implementation of the Financial Control System (Framework) in accordance with best practices and leadership direction.
- Prepare and implement an effective reporting system on key indicators.
- Report on non-compliance, fraudulent activities, and all other financial irregularities resulting from audit work.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA is desirable.
- Hands on audit experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a local bank and/or audit service firm.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Emaratis are preferred.
