Master Planning Project Manager

Description:

We are looking for a new, full-time highly experienced and client-focused Master Planning Project Manager to join our team in Dubai with over 10 years of experience, the ideal candidate will lead complex urban development projects, manage client, coordinate project technical requirements and stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful project delivery from initiation to close-out. Therefore, the preferred candidate will have a Degree in Urban Design, Planning or a related field of study, with experience working on such projects in the region. Local client relationships and industry knowledge are important aspects of this position. You will need to have great initiative, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to articulate through presentations, client meetings and written proposals. You will focus on delivering on a number of projects working across the MENA region, coordinating with the design team in the UK, and engaging clients. Primary responsibilities include Client Interface, Project Management, Stakeholders Management, Project Financial Management, Project Technical Coordination and Project Delivery Compliance. As a Master Planning Project Manager, you will coordinate a wide range of tasks simultaneously for multiple projects locally and with the main office in London. You will report to the MENA Regional Managing Director and work with the more extensive UK office leadership and project team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Project management and administration:

· Undertakes full day-to-day PM role on complex projects

· Manage the day-to-day relationship with allocated clients in relation to client satisfaction, project revenue and profitability

· Establishing project management best practices within the team and by working with peers

· Taking overall ownership for the end-to-end project life cycle and strategy, managing the project programme and budget through to delivery

· Manage scheduling and resourcing for all your projects – working across a number at the same time

· Negotiating scope, budget and deadlines with client and consultant teams

· Ensure all projects are set up correctly following the company processes

· Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution and escalation when necessary.

· Organise and lead in regular client and team meetings, ensuring client needs are met and tasks delegated correctly

· Prepare detailed project briefs for the production staff working on your projects

Financial management:

· Observe, track and advise project financial performance and budgets throughout life span

· Review project earned values regularly with the commercial leads to keep project performance on track

· Meet monthly targets for delivery of project figures and invoicing

Project Technical Coordination:

· Lead interdisciplinary coordination task for urban design and planning projects, from inception through delivery.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment of goals and objectives and liaise with the technical team in the home office

· Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate local regulatory requirements across public and private sectors.

· Regularly interface with municipal authorities and government agencies to support approvals and alignment with policy frameworks.

· Facilitate workshops, charrettes, and stakeholder engagements to gather input and build consensus.

· Review and contribute to high-quality deliverables such as master plans, planning reports, and design frameworks where necessary to facilitate the design teamwork progress

· Coordinate with internal teams and subconsultants, ensuring coordination across disciplines and maintaining quality standards.
