Description:
The Middle East Training Leader is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the technical training strategy across the Middle East region. This role ensures the successful deployment of all training plans through direct delivery and close collaboration with Field Engineers, Supervisors, and Branch teams. The ultimate objective is to elevate the technical capabilities, knowledge, and performance of all field employees, contributing to long-term operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Strategy & Program Development
- Define the regional technical training strategy aligned with Middle East business needs, corporate standards, and field operational priorities.
- Design comprehensive technical training programs, learning paths, and skill development frameworks for technicians, supervisors, and Field Engineers.
- Develop training materials, documentation, practical modules, and evaluation methods.
- Training Delivery & Deployment
- Lead the deployment of the annual Training Plan across all Middle East branches.
- Conduct direct technical training sessions for field personnel and support Field Engineers and Supervisors in their training roles.
- Ensure proper execution of all training activities by monitoring attendance, quality, learning retention, and follow-up assessments.
- Performance Improvement & Technical Competency
- Evaluate training effectiveness through on-the-job performance, skill assessments, and competency audits.
- Identify gaps in technical knowledge, safety practices, troubleshooting skills, or installation/maintenance procedures, and develop targeted training interventions.
- Continuously upgrade training content to reflect new technologies, tools, safety standards, and best practices.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Country Field Service Leads, Field Transformation Leaders, and Field Enablement teams to align training with operational goals.
- Coordinate with Branch Managers and local supervisors to schedule and prioritize training sessions.
- Liaise with Quality and Safety Leaders to integrate compliance and regulatory requirements into training modules.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and report training KPIs, including completion rates, certification levels, skill progress, and post-training performance metrics.
- Propose continuous improvement actions to enhance training efficiency, delivery methods, and technical content.
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities, certifications, and competency levels across the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field). Mandatory.
- Fluent English (spoken and written). Mandatory.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in technical training, field engineering, maintenance operations, or similar roles.
- Experience in the elevator/escalator industry or related vertical transportation sectors is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to design and deliver technical training programs.
- Strong communication, instructional, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across the Middle East region.
