Job Role:

We are looking for a skilled Medical Coder. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coding patient diagnoses and procedures for accurate billing and reimbursement in both primary healthcare and homecare settings.

In addition, the role includes supporting audit purposes and ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards and insurance guidelines.
• Perform accurate coding for primary healthcare and homecare settings.
• Support internal audits and billing processes.
• Collaborate with medical professionals for clarification on codes.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical coding practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Coding, Health Information Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in a primary healthcare and homecare setting.
• Proficient in ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding systems.
• Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and insurance protocols.
• Certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) is preferred.
• Familiarity with coding software and EMR systems.
