Description:
We're looking for a Community & Content Manager who can:
- Take full ownership of the Tekton Thrive Community (LinkedIn + website content)
- Automate and manage content workflows using modern tools
- Support the founder directly with light administrative and research tasks
You’ll be our go-to person for building and growing our online presence, coordinating content, and supporting the early stages of a professional community that will evolve into events, partnerships, and sponsored content.
🧭 Key Responsibilities
🧩 Community Management (Primary)
- Run and grow the Tekton Thrive Community Page (LinkedIn + website features)
- Plan and manage a content calendar: schedule, write, and repurpose posts
- Curate industry-relevant content aligned with our voice and strategy
- Monitor comments, messages, and encourage engagement with our audience
- Track performance metrics and optimize content based on data
- Coordinate guest posts, sponsored content, and software/tool features
⚙️ Content Automation & Tools
- Set up and manage basic automations (e.g. RSS → scheduler → LinkedIn)
- Use tools like Buffer, Feedly, Make/Zapier, Pocket, or ContentStudio
- Document workflows and help us run a lean, efficient content engine
📋 Light Admin & PA Support
- Assist the founder with:
- Basic research
- Meeting scheduling
- Simple document updates
- Tracking collaborations and content
🧠 About You
- You’re a natural communicator with strong writing and people skills
- You’ve managed or contributed to online communities (bonus: LinkedIn and Website-focused)
- You’re comfortable with tech tools and can automate tasks or learn quickly
- You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- You align with Tekton Thrive’s values: professionalism, education, and collaboration
✅ Ideal Experience (Not All Required)
- Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier, Make, Pabbly, or n8n
- Experience with social content tools: Buffer, Hootsuite, CoSchedule, Missinglettr
- Content curation platforms: Feedly, Scoop.it, Flipboard, or Pocket
- Design (Canva), Notion, Google Docs, LinkedIn admin tools
- Interest or background in construction, consulting, training, or education
