Operations Manager

Description:

VED Global FZCO, a member of the NB Group, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize its end-to-end business operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing the complete business cycle, from procurement and supplier management to logistics, sales coordination, and customer fulfillment.

NB Group’s parent company, NB Industries, has over 20 years of experience in the plastics industry, manufacturing and supplying flexible packaging solutions throughout the African market. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end business operations across multiple functions.

• Oversee procurement, sourcing, inventory management, and logistics activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

• Lead commercial negotiations and make strategic purchasing decisions.

• Coordinate sales, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Ensure the timely and efficient execution of customer orders.

• Resolve operational and commercial challenges effectively.

• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

• Collaborate closely with senior management on business growth initiatives and strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant managerial experience.

• Strong background in operations, procurement, trading, supply chain, or related industries.

• Excellent commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Proven experience managing suppliers, customers, logistics operations, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Experience in FMCG, packaging, plastics, manufacturing, or trading industries will be an advantage.
