Description:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Organizational Design Lead to shape how work gets done across the company. The role will partner with senior leaders, HR, and business units to design scalable operating models, role architectures, governance and ways of working that improve clarity, speed and accountability. You will translate business strategy into organization structure, role profiles and implementation roadmaps — then lead pilots, change management and capability transfer so designs are adopted and deliver measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end organizational design projects: diagnostics, design options, decision frameworks, rollout planning and benefits tracking.
- Translate strategy into structures, spans of control, reporting lines, role clusters, and governance models that enable growth and operational efficiency.
- Create and standardize job families, role profiles, leveled career ladders and competency frameworks.
- Design clear decision rights, RACI matrices and cross-functional operating rhythms to reduce duplication and accelerate delivery.
- Run design workshops, stakeholder interviews and alignment sessions with executives and people managers.
- Build implementation roadmaps: transition plans, change impact assessments, communication plans, and training for managers.
- Integrate workforce planning, role rationalization and headcount modelling into design proposals.
- Partner with Total Rewards and HRIS to align grading, compensation and systems with the new architecture.
- Develop measurement frameworks and dashboards to track adoption, productivity, span/ratio metrics, and employee experience.
- Coach HR business partners and leaders to embed new structures and sustain continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in organizational design, OD consulting, change delivery or HR transformation.
- Proven track record designing and implementing operating models, role architectures and governance in mid-to-large organisations.
- Strong facilitation skills and experience leading executive workshops and cross-functional alignment.
- Solid analytical capability: org diagnostics, headcount modelling, workload analysis and scenario planning.
- Familiarity with HR systems (Workday/SAP/Oracle), org charting tools and people analytics platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
- Change management experience and practical ability to drive adoption in complex environments.
- Certifications in organization design, change management (Prosci) or related disciplines are advantageous.
