Package Manager

 

Description:

Manages on time and within budget delivery of Supplier Procurement Packages in compliance to the applicable Project Technical, Quality and HSES requirements.

Supply Chain Management:

Manages the Purchase Order budget and commercial issues with the supplier (with the support of the project procurement manager),

Manages the supplier delivery schedule including design dependencies and sub suppliers,

Leads supplier meetings such as Kick off Meetings, Pre-Inspection Meetings and Progress Reviews, Responsible for delivery of supplier materials in accordance with Lamprell Quality and HSES requirements.

Technical: Reviews / contributes towards the creation of Material Requisitions & Technical Bid Evaluations,

Proactively manages resolution of technical and quality issues between supplier and Lamprell stakeholders.

Responsible for ensuring timely progress and approval of supplier deliverables

Ensure compliance to HSES Policies, Plans & Procedures as applicable.

Ensure compliance to Information Security policies and procedures as applicable.

Knowledge of:

The engineering / procurement / fabrication / Testing / Site work processes involved in the supplier packages within their scope

Market Conditions related to their scope of management

Commercial awareness

Management of Change Processes

Purchase order structure and the terms under which they are managing the supplier

Overall project Supply Chain Process

Overall project experience in the areas in which they will be working

Project management methodology

Quality Assurance and Quality Control methods related to the manufacturing process for the supplier package within their scope

End client specification and processes
