Description:

🔒 Key Requirements :

• Platform Expertise: Proven track record as a DBA with deep technical knowledge of SQL Server (2019–2022) and PostgreSQL (v12–v16); experience with recent major releases is essential.
• GIS Capability: Advanced proficiency in managing PostGIS extensions is highly desirable to support specialized spatial data workloads.
• Performance Tuning: Expert-level command of database internals, execution plans and optimization techniques for both SQL Server and PostgresSQL database servers
• Architectural Resilience: Demonstrated experience designing and deploying complex High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures (e.g., AlwaysOn, Patroni, or Streaming Replication).
• Data Integrity & Recovery: Comprehensive experience in architecting enterprise backup/restore strategies and managing Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) scenarios.
• Security: Strong familiarity with enterprise security protocols, encryption standards and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
• Troubleshooting: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to lead L3-level troubleshooting and performance diagnostics.
• Professional Certification: Valid industry certifications are mandatory.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
