Pricing Specialist

Description:

1. Negotiate pricing for transactional business opportunities via e-mail or electronic load

board.

2. Work with sales and O\operation's teams to identify market trends in pricing and

capacity.

3. Continued analysis of assigned accounts' potential growth and plan accordingly to win

more opportunities.

4. Exercise sound discretion and judgement in determining proper pricing for all lanes on

the account.

5. Continually re-assess lanes to ensure pricing is competitive and profitable.

6. Advise customers when multi-mode transportation is more cost effective and profitable.

7. Ensure that customer needs are being met and provide excellent service.

8. Meet profitability goals and objectives as determined by management.

9. Work closely with Account Coordinators, Account Managers and Customer Sales to ensure

customer needs are being met.

10. Maintain all information in appropriate customer database.

11. Responsible for special projects as assigned.

12. Work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Computer literacy - ability to use computers and required software effectively and

efficiently in the working environment.

2. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers,

common fractions, and decimals.

3. High School Diploma.
