Description:
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Principal Specialist – AI, Robotics & STEM Innovation to design, own, and scale Ascend’s proprietary curriculum and digital learning ecosystem.
This is a leadership role focused on:
- Curriculum IP ownership
- LMS-based course development
- Training & institutional programs
- Innovation research
- Team coordination
- Thought leadership representation
The selected candidate will play a critical role in positioning Ascend as an authority in AI and Robotics education across schools, academies, and corporate/government platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Curriculum & IP Development (Core Focus)
- Design Ascend-owned proprietary curriculum in AI, Robotics, STEM, Computational Thinking, and Coding
- Develop structured lesson plans with learning objectives, practical activities, and assessments
- Create licensable IP assets including teacher manuals, student workbooks, and project kits
- Ensure alignment with UAE Education Vision and global STEAM standards
2️⃣ Online Courses & LMS Development
- Architect and structure Ascend’s digital learning ecosystem
- Develop self-paced AI & Robotics courses, certification programs, and hybrid learning models
- Collaborate with tech teams to build structured LMS content, assessments, and analytics
- Continuously update programs based on industry trends and learner performance
3️⃣ Training, Workshops & Team Leadership
- Conduct student workshops, robotics challenges, AI bootcamps, and hackathons
- Deliver teacher training and institutional capacity-building programs
- Mentor and train internal instructors to ensure quality delivery
- Coordinate with in-house AI & Robotics teams to drive program execution
4️⃣ Thought Leadership & Partnerships
- Represent Ascend at AI, robotics, and education events
- Deliver keynote sessions and panel discussions
- Contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and knowledge content
- Support marketing with technical insights and demonstration frameworks
🔷 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Robotics, STEM, or related field
- Proven experience in curriculum development or instructional design
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics systems, and EdTech platforms
- Experience with LMS platforms and digital course structuring
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience working with schools, universities, or government programs is an advantage
- Ability to think strategically while executing hands-on
