Procurement Incharge

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement In charge with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in leading hospitals, group pharmacies, or wholesale companies within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring a smooth supply chain process. Preference will be given to candidates with strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and a deep understanding of competitive product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of products and materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best terms and conditions.
• Negotiate short & long terms contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs.
• Analyze market trends to adjust procurement strategies.
• Regularly evaluate supplier performance and negotiate improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceuticals, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement roles within hospitals, group pharmacies, or wholesale companies in the UAE.
• Strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and an in-depth understanding of competitive product lines will be highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
