Al Barakah Dates Factory LLC, a leading food manufacturing company in Dubai Industrial City, is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to manage all packaging materials procurement. This critical role ensures uninterrupted supply while maintaining cost competitiveness, quality standards, and supplier reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Management: Manage procurement of all packing materials including laminates, labels, cartons, and PET bottles. Source, evaluate, and maintain competitive packaging suppliers in the UAE.
- Negotiation & SAP Operations: Negotiate pricing, lead time, call-offs, and commercial terms. Create and manage Purchase Orders in SAP B1 as per Supply Chain Planner requirements and run MRP for timely availability.
- Coordination & Quality Control: Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse, and QC teams. Manage supplier call-offs to match production plans and resolve quality issues, rejections, and corrective actions.
- Innovation & Supplier Management: Support new packing material development with R&D team. Conduct supplier follow-ups, visits, and maintain packing material master data and SAP codes.
Required QualificationsExperience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in packing materials (laminates, labels, cartons, PET bottles)
- Strong supplier network with UAE packaging suppliers
- Hands-on experience using SAP B1
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced factory environment
