Procurement Manager

Description:

Notions Group, a renowned FMCG manufacturer in Dubai, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join their state-of-the-art Chocolate Factory located in DIP 2, Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional with a strong background in food, chocolate, or confectionery manufacturing.

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process with a focus on raw materials, packaging materials, and service contracts. You will ensure all purchasing activities align with organizational goals, cost-efficiency, and compliance with both internal standards and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage procurement operations and build strong relationships with both local and international suppliers.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure value for money while maintaining product quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with production, research & development (R&D), and quality assurance teams to ensure procurement aligns with operational needs.

• Guarantee compliance with UAE import/export laws, and food safety and quality regulations specific to the food manufacturing sector.

• Leverage ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics for efficient procurement planning, order tracking, and inventory management.

• Monitor market trends, identify sourcing risks, and propose solutions to optimize supply chain resilience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on procurement experience, specifically in the FMCG sector, preferably within food, chocolate, or confectionery industries.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics, is essential.

• Knowledge of food industry compliance and UAE regulations is required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
