Procurement Officer

 

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Officer located in Sharjah. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for day-to-day procurement tasks, including purchase orders, contract negotiation, and purchasing. The Procurement Officer should have strong analytical skills and experience in procurement.·

Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers for getting the best rates of materials, raw materials, and best quality.

· Negotiate with vendors for raw materials and finished goods and compare the price from various vendors.

· Best payment terms setting with vendors to ease cash flow as instructed by the management.

· Always be prompt on getting new inquiries of items for retail/project sales purpose.

· Reconciliation of goods received and purchase orders item wise.

· Follow up of vendors pending inquiries for project/retails.

· Calculation of accurate landed cost, pricing as per management’s instructions.

· Motivate the sales team as per management’s instruction for discount option to liquidate slow moving items.

· Coordinate with accounts department for settlement of supplier’s a/c.

 

Qualifications

  • Purchase Orders and Contract Negotiation skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Experience in Procurement and Purchasing
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
