As part of the procurement team, the officer will work closely with site engineers, project managers, and internal departments to ensure that project material requirements are fulfilled without delays. Maintaining supplier relationships, tracking procurement records, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing will also be key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete procurement processes for construction and landscaping materials.
• Identify, source, and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors within the UAE market.
• Request and compare supplier quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation and records.
• Coordinate with site teams and project managers to understand material requirements for ongoing projects.
• Ensure materials are delivered to project sites within the required timelines.
• Maintain an updated supplier database and procurement tracking records.
• Work with the accounts department to verify invoices and facilitate supplier payments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in the construction or landscaping industry will be an advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Good understanding of local suppliers, materials, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Candidates must be currently located in Dubai.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
