Description:
I am currently looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the successful delivery of several High-Rise projects across Dubai. This is a senior leadership position suited to an individual with a proven background in delivery of High-Rise buildings from construction stage through to successful handover.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will act as a key point of contact between clients, consultants, and project teams while providing strategic leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of complex, large-scale construction projects, overseeing all site operations from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
- Manage project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and implement project strategies, programmes, schedules, and delivery plans aligned with client expectations and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, commercial performance, resource allocation, and overall project progress.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, variations, claims, and project requirements.
- Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to protect programme, cost, and quality objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, authorities, and project partners.
- Lead coordination between design, commercial, construction, and technical teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai construction regulations, authority requirements, health & safety standards, and quality procedures.
- Drive best practices across project delivery, improving processes, efficiency, and overall project performance.
- Provide clear reporting and project updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop project teams, creating a high-performance and collaborative working environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 18 years’ experience within construction, project management, or supervision, with a strong track record delivering major developments.
- Previous experience operating as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager on High-Rise projects is a Must.
- Strong Middle East experience is essential, with proven knowledge of the Dubai construction market.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, planning, cost management, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent client-facing skills with experience dealing directly with developers, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
