Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Delivery Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of digital engineering initiatives across complex infrastructure and built environment projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience managing complex BIM projects and delivering high-value digital assets, including asset information models (AIM) and digital twins. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital project lifecycle, stakeholder management, and a commitment to driving innovation and efficiency through digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end digital delivery of infrastructure and building projects with a focus on ISO 19650 and digital twin development strategies.
- Manage the implementation of digital delivery plans, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project goals, and asset information specifications.
- Oversee digital delivery teams, including BIM managers, coordinators, data specialists, and consultants.
BIM & Asset Information Management
- Ensure the correct execution and compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP), and Asset Information Requirements (AIR).
- Collaborate with design, projects, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data-rich models and asset registers.
- Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and ensure consistent information flow and data governance across the project lifecycle.
Digital Twin & Smart Asset Integration
- Develop and manage strategies for creating and maintaining digital twins using integrated datasets, 3D/4D/5D models, and real-time data feeds.
- Work with technology partners and internal IT to align digital twin frameworks with operational systems (e.g., CAFM, IoT, GIS).
- Coordinate asset data handover processes in accordance with agreed program specification and best industry standards such.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Act as the primary interface between digital delivery teams and project stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and operators.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and digital coordination meetings to align multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure clear communication of digital strategies, deliverables, and milestones to technical and non-technical audiences.
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain digital delivery compliance with regulatory standards, project protocols, and internal quality management systems.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, post-project reviews, and integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, AR/VR).
- Champion digital innovation and support organizational change management initiatives related to digital transformation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in digital project management with a strong focus on BIM, asset information data & modelling, and digital twin systems implementation and delivery.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or built environment projects with complex stakeholder and data requirements.
- In-depth understanding of ISO 19650, BIM standards, asset lifecycle information management, and digital twin frameworks.
- Strong experience in managing digital tools and platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Revit, or similar.
- Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g., Maximo, Planon) and IoT/Smart Building technologies is highly desirable.
- PMP, APM, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- BIM-related certifications such as BRE BIM Practitioner/Manager, or similar, are advantageous.
