Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Project Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, supporting a major roads and transportation infrastructure package. In this role, you will work closely with the client to ensure the successful delivery of construction-phase projects, meeting all requirements for quality, schedule, and budget. The position involves managing infrastructure projects with values of up to USD 200 million within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Project Director in delivering assigned infrastructure project components.
- Develop scope of work and contribute to the preparation of detailed project execution plans.
- Establish, monitor, and control project schedules, ensuring coordination across all disciplines.
- Oversee day-to-day project execution, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoice review.
- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining strong coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Liaise with authorities and stakeholders to resolve design and construction-related issues.
- Apply strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, and commercial management principles.
- Attend regular meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to support successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to remove obstacles impacting project progress.
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and mitigation measures, ensuring proactive and effective resolution.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in roads and infrastructure projects within a PMC environment.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills to resolve design and construction issues.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with authorities, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong understanding of project controls, contracts, and commercial aspects of construction projects.
