Description:
We are looking for a Public Relations Officer (PRO) with proven experience in the UAE construction industry to manage all government and labor-related processes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth interaction with ministries, government departments, and regulatory bodies while supporting visa processing, license renewals, and compliance for the company’s construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all government-related documentation and transactions including:
- Employment visas, residency permits, Emirates IDs, labor contracts, and renewals
- Company trade license updates and approvals from Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and DED
- Work permits and approvals from the Ministry of Labour and other relevant authorities
- Liaise with Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, Civil Defense, and other government departments for construction-related approvals
- Coordinate site-specific permits and safety compliance documents required for new project mobilization
- Ensure timely submission of documentation to avoid fines, delays, or penalties
- Maintain organized records and logs of all official correspondences and government documentation
- Support the HR and Administration team in onboarding and offboarding of employees from a government compliance perspective
- Stay up to date with changes in UAE labor law, visa regulations, and construction-related policies
- Represent the company during labor inspections or audits when required
- Assist in corporate communication efforts, including the coordination of official PR events, exhibitions, and CSR activities related to the construction division
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a PRO within the construction or contracting sector
- In-depth knowledge of UAE Labor Law, visa and licensing procedures, and government portals (GDRFA, MOHRE, Dubai Trade, etc.)
- Strong connections and working relationships with Dubai-based government departments
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- UAE driving license is mandatory
