HIRING – Purchasing Manager – DUBAI F&B

Responsibilities:

  • Searching and selecting equipment, inventory, packaging, and non-food products for the restaurant.
  • Organizing timely deliveries for the restaurant’s opening, ensuring contractors fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Sourcing inventory, packaging, and tableware from local suppliers in accordance with the recommended APL matrix.
  • Identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and handling necessary documentation for deliveries (invoices, proformas, contracts, etc.).
  • Supporting menu updates in the restaurant: sourcing ingredients for new dishes, organizing trials, coordinating volumes with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and arranging deliveries before the menu launch date.
  • Entering supplier data, product nomenclature, and other relevant information into the company’s database.
  • Conducting negotiations, tenders, and improving commercial terms on previously signed contracts.
  • Managing the full order cycle: placing orders, sending them to suppliers, registering expected deliveries in the system, and ensuring timely arrivals of high-quality products in the required quantities.
  • Monitoring delivery timelines for goods and materials.
  • Coordinating with brokers and transportation services regarding shipping and customs clearance.
  • Overseeing supplier payments and collaborating with the company’s accounting department.
  • Maintaining optimal stock levels and controlling shortages of goods and materials.
  • Ensuring the quality of incoming products from suppliers, managing claims, and handling product returns.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • English proficiency at C1 level; Russian language skills are an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Purchasing Manager in retail or FMCG.
  • Experience in HoReCa.
  • Experience working with international manufacturers and foreign suppliers in procurement.
  • Strong skills in identifying profitable suppliers and negotiating terms.
  • Experience conducting tenders is a plus.
  • Knowledge of market conditions, pricing policies, taxation, and international trade.
  • Proficiency in specialized procurement management software and systems.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize supply chains.
  • Analytical skills and ability to provide reports.
