About the Role

  • In our business model, the Sales team owns the responsibility for procurement initiating demand based on customer and project needs. However, the Purchase Manager plays an active and commercial role, not just processing inputs, but challenging assumptions, ensuring accuracy of demand, translating forecasts into actionable plans, and executing procurement strategies that support customer delivery, working capital, and margin objectives.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in procurement within distribution or trading businesses in the engineering, MEP, or scientific product sectors in the GCC.
  • Strong understanding of project-driven, sales-led demand dynamics; ability to challenge and refine commercial forecasts.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, manage contracts, and build long-term supplier relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, international trade procedures, and regional compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (D365, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and comfort with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
