QS / Estimator – Aluminum/Glass/Wood Pergolas & Outdoor Structures

EcoSmartLine | Dubai, UAE | Full-Time

EcoSmartLine is a leading Dubai specialist in custom aluminum pergolas, wooden pergolas, glass-integrated structures, outdoor shades, facades, and sustainable designs for luxury residential, villa, and commercial projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and quotations specifically for aluminum, glass, and wood pergolas/outdoor structures.

Analyze drawings, specs, and tenders to develop competitive pricing using current UAE market rates (materials, labor, suppliers).

Perform material sourcing comparisons, value engineering, and cost optimization without quality compromise.

Support tender submissions, post-tender negotiations, variations, interim payments, and final accounts.

Collaborate with design, production, site, and project teams for precise cost control and risk management.

Maintain cost databases, records, and reports for pergola/facade projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related.

Minimum 3–5 years hands-on QS/Estimation experience in UAE, with proven specialization in aluminum, glass, and wood pergolas / outdoor structures / facades (BOQ prep, take-offs, costing, tendering for these exact materials/types). → Niche experts only — candidates without direct, demonstrable pergola/aluminum/glass/wood structure experience will not be considered.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (take-offs from drawings), advanced MS Excel, and QS/estimation software (Tally or similar a plus).

Strong knowledge of UAE/Dubai market rates, suppliers, building codes, DEWA standards, and VAT/compliance.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Valid UAE driving license preferred.

RICS or equivalent certification advantageous.
