Quality Assurance Manager

Candidate must be from Manufacturing background and should have minimum 8 years of working experience in Quality Control / Assurance

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field is typically required.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years in quality control within the manufacturing industry, with specific experience in wastewater treatment processes being highly advantageous.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22000) and knowledge of HACCP principles are preferred.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in data analysis, and experience with audit processes are essential.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System (QMS):

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System.

Support internal audits and help manage external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

 

2. Regulatory Compliance:

Assist in ensuring all processes comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards.

Help monitor regulatory updates and participate in the development of policies to maintain compliance.

 

3. Process Improvement:

Collaborate with the QA Manager to identify and implement process improvements in wastewater treatment operations.

Support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality.

 

4. Testing and Inspection:

Supervise and participate in the testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

Assist in developing and maintaining quality control documentation and testing protocols.

 

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Assist in preparing reports on quality performance and presenting findings to management.

 

6. Training and Development:

Help develop and deliver training programs on quality assurance procedures and regulatory compliance.

Support the creation of training materials and documentation for team members.

 

7. Supplier and Customer Quality Management:

Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

Assist in resolving quality issues with suppliers and customers, including handling complaints and implementing corrective actions.

 

8. Team Support and Leadership:

Provide guidance and support to quality assurance staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and quality standards.

Act as a point of contact for the QA team in the absence of the QA Manager.

 

Work Environment:

This role may involve both office and plant environments, with occasional exposure to industrial conditions.

Some travel may be required to support audits, supplier visits, or customer interactions.
