Quantity Surveyor

Description:

AM Global, a reputable company based in Dubai, UAE, is urgently hiring experienced Quantity Surveyors. The full-time positions require candidates with significant experience in construction and fit-out projects, specifically in UAE.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in AutoCAD, Quantity Take-offs, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) & SOW (Scope of Work) preparation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing accurate Quantity Take-offs and BOQs for various construction and fit-out projects.

• Developing and reviewing SOW for project scopes.

• Working closely with project teams to ensure that quantities are correctly documented and all materials and labor are accounted for.

• Ensuring project costs are controlled and providing cost analysis for ongoing and future projects.

• Assisting in contract administration and the preparation of tender submissions.

• Preparing cost reports and helping with cost forecasting.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or fit-out projects in the UAE.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Quantity Take-offs.

• Ability to prepare BOQs and SOWs accurately.

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
