Quantity Surveyor/contracts Administrator

 

Description:

Eligibility:

  • Candidates must have experience working in Engineering consultancy firms within UAE.
  • Candidates must be available in UAE.
  • Must have experience in both pre and post contract administration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) at the project outset.
  • Conduct engineering measurements for completed works.
  • Assist in managing financial and contractual aspects of projects.
  • Provide support on cost-related matters throughout project execution.
  • Prepare and evaluate variation orders.
  • Maintain and streamline cost and quantity records.
  • Perform measurement procedures and calculations for interim and final quantities.
  • Assess unit rates for new work items and submit for review.
  • Analyse cost implications of design modifications.
  • Identify and recommend value engineering opportunities.
  • Participate in contractual claim evaluations and entitlement assessments.
  • Provide financial guidance on contractual matters.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and record-keeping of project data.
  • Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.
  • Oversee contract final cost estimates and budget compliance.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and other construction agreements.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
