Description:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Retail & Hospitality Executive to support IT operations across retail stores, hospitality venues, and corporate locations. This role involves handling POS systems, CCTV, audio systems, ISP services, biometric attendance, and providing comprehensive IT support to management and all departments. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless technical operations across UAE and overseas branches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and onsite IT support for retail stores and hospitality operations, including POS systems, network connectivity, printers, MSR, and software issues.
- Travel overseas to roll out new POS units and troubleshoot hardware devices (POS, desktops, printers).
- Install, monitor, and maintain CCTV setups, perform backups and health checks, and coordinate with vendors for incident resolution.
- Set up and configure complete audio systems (speakers + microphones) across all UAE and overseas locations.
- Manage applications/cancellations of ADSL/Broadband Internet and SIM cards, coordinate with Etisalat/Du for technical and billing issues, and monitor monthly bills.
- Install, monitor, and maintain biometric attendance systems, coordinate with vendors for new setups and hardware repairs.
- Provide IT support for top management (VP Office, residences), including laptops, desktops, CCTV, TVs, and other electronics.
- Deliver desktop support at offices and warehouses: install/configure hardware/software, maintain systems, troubleshoot faults, and liaise with third-party vendors.
- Set up new user accounts, perform data backups/restorations, support application rollouts, and maintain call logs.
- Conduct electrical safety checks, purchase computer systems/peripherals, and work with procurement teams.
- Identify and propose system improvements for review by senior team members.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar IT support or retail/hospitality technical role.
- Strong understanding of POS systems, CCTV, audio setups, and network equipment.
- Experience with biometric systems and coordinating with ISPs and telecom providers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize multiple open cases.
- Effective communication, documentation, and vendor coordination skills.
