Safety Manager

Description:

Metac General Contracting Company is currently seeking an experienced and highly responsible Safety Manager to oversee all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) operations for its villa construction projects in Dubai. This position plays a critical role in promoting a zero-incident culture while ensuring that all project activities strictly comply with local and international safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in construction safety management, along with strong leadership skills to implement and enforce safety standards across multiple project sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety policies and procedures across project sites

• Ensure full compliance with UAE construction safety regulations and international HSE standards

• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards

• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Organize and supervise safety training sessions for site personnel

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation and reports

• Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction safety management

• NEBOSH or equivalent internationally recognized safety certification is mandatory

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant specialized safety qualifications

• Strong understanding of Dubai construction safety laws and compliance requirements

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
